CHEF DE PARTIE

Part of the galley team on our river cruisers. The Chef de Partie reports to the Executive Chef and the Sous-Chef.

  • Cooking and preparing daily meals (breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner) for staff and guests according to the menu.
  • Assisting with the opening and closing of the boats at the start and end of the season, as well as taking part in on-board training programmes.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years’ professional experience in the hotel, hospitality or restaurant sector
  • Good command of English

COMMIS DE CUISINE – Assistant Chef

Part of the kitchen team on our river boats. The Commis de Cuisine reports to the Executive Chef and the Sous-Chef.

  • Assists in the preparation and cooking of daily meals for staff and guests in accordance with the Executive Chef’s Manual and the menu cycle.
  • Maintains cleanliness and order in the kitchen and production areas; participates in on-board training programmes.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year’s professional experience in a 4- or 5-star kitchen
  • Good command of English; knowledge of other languages may be an advantage

CHEF DE RANG – Waiter/Waitress

Part of the Food & Beverage team on our river cruisers. The Chef de Rang provides friendly and professional service in the restaurant, bar, lounge and on the sun deck. The Chef de Rang reports to the Maître d’Hôtel.

Duties
  • Welcoming and sales-oriented service in the restaurant, bar, lounge and on the sun deck.
  • Carrying out all food and beverage duties, including functions and special events.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar 4–5-star environment
  • Fluent English with excellent verbal communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge of wines and spirits is an advantage
  • Service-oriented, positive personality and professional attitude

STATEROOM STEWARD/ESS – Cabin Attendant

Part of the Housekeeping team. The Stateroom Steward/ess always provides a friendly, personalised housekeeping service to guests. This involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness in guest cabins and all communal areas.

Duties
  • Daily cleaning of cabins, communal areas, washrooms and reception
  • Rotating laundry duties, including washing, ironing and folding
Requirements
  • At least 2 years’ previous experience in a similar role within housekeeping
  • Good English communication skills (around B1/B2 level)

UTILITY – Dishwasher, Kitchen Assistant

Part of the kitchen team. The Utility works under the supervision of the Executive Chef.

Duties
  • Professional cleaning of crockery
  • Maintaining cleanliness and order in the dishwashing area
  • Regular cleaning of the kitchen in accordance with regulations
  • Collecting waste and disposing of it in external bins
Requirements
  • Good command of English ( min. B1 level)
  • Relevant work experience , especially kitchen experience is an advantage
