Salary<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Employees over the age of 20 earn <strong>from \u20ac14.71 gross per hour<\/strong>, including full official employment registration and holiday pay. Working 38 hours per week can result in approximately <strong>\u20ac2,235 gross per month<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For experienced and high-performing chefs, the salary may be higher, up to around <strong>\u20ac17.66 per hour<\/strong>, which can result in earnings of up to <strong>\u20ac2,684 gross per month<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Indicative starting hourly wages<\/strong>:<br><strong>\u20ac14.99\u2013\u20ac17.99 gross\/hour:<\/strong> waiters\/waitresses, dishwashers, hotel cleaners, kitchen assistants, etc. In the Netherlands, wages may in certain cases also depend on the employee\u2019s age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 id=\"h-2-holiday-pay\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Holiday pay<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We pay <strong>18% holiday pay:<\/strong> 8% is paid weekly, while an additional 10% is saved and can be received by the employee during their holiday, in the event of sick leave, or when the employment relationship ends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 id=\"h-3-working-hours-and-pay\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Working hours and pay<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Employees are paid only for the hours they actually work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 id=\"h-4-weekly-payment\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Weekly payment<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Payment is made weekly, <strong>on Thursdays and Fridays,<\/strong> and all hours worked are paid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 id=\"h-5-weekend-allowance\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Weekend allowance<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At some workplaces, there is an <strong>additional 20% payment on Saturdays and 25% on Sundays.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 id=\"h-6-tips\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">6. Tips<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many of our employees also receive tips from guests, averaging <strong>\u20ac200\u2013\u20ac400 per month.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 id=\"h-7-bsn-registration\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">7. BSN registration<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We help you apply for a <strong>BSN number<\/strong> and assist with the related administrative procedures in the Netherlands. We will arrange the appointment with you when you arrive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 id=\"h-8-health-insurance\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">8. Health insurance<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the Netherlands, employers generally do not cover health insurance, so everyone must choose their own insurance.
